Two Joint Health Smoothies to Increase Mobility

One formula we love sharing is Joint Vitality, inspired by the classical Traditional Chinese Medicine formula Du Huo Ji Sheng Tang. Used for centuries by practitioners of Chinese herbal medicine, this blend is traditionally taken to support overall joint comfort and flexibility as part of a balanced wellness routine

Taken daily, our Joint Vitality not only tastes delicious (custom flavor blends cocoa, cinnamon, vanilla, honey, and a touch of chile), but also provides your body with a steady dose of oh so beneficial collagen.

More Than an Herbal Boost to Your Morning Coffee Ritual

Since we developed the formula, we've always suggested adding a scoop or two to your morning coffee as the soothing flavors blend well, like a collagen-herbal creamer to your morning joe.  But for added variety, we've developed two smoothies for added variety to complement your wellness routine.

Below are two very simple but tasteful recipes that combine Joint Vitality with other nutrient-rich powerhouse ingredients like avocado (packed with healthy fats which provide the body with a strong and easily-used source of fuel), spinach or kale (both rich in vitamins and minerals, helping to boost the immune system and rejuvenate the liver), and anti-oxidant rich berries!

Smoothie One: Green Joint Vitality Smoothie

Ingredients

  • Two scoops Joint Vitality
  • Half avocado
  • Half banana
  • A handful of spinach or kale
  • Half cup oat milk, unsweetened (other milks could be substituted)
  • Half a cup of plain yogurt
  • 1 to 2 ounces of water as desired

Blend and enjoy!

Smoothie Two: Joint Vitality & Berry Smoothie:

  • Two scoops Joint Vitality
  • 1 cup berries (strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, blueberry mix)
  • Half cup oat milk, unsweetened (other milks could be substituted)
  • Half a cup of plain yogurt

Blend and enjoy!
