On-the-Go Chinese Herbs for Vacations & Travel

Looking to get out of town to enjoy a summer vacation? Not surprisingly, Chinese herbs provide incredible options for healthier vacations, and DAO Labs has made them easier to pack, enjoy and consume – whether for a much needed immunity bump, or when you’ve had one too many cocktails and want to feel more balanced the next morning, behold below our first DAO Labs packing list.

Your Summer of 2023 Chinese Herbs Packing List

Immunity Support: This summer, no one should leave home without Immunity Support, inspired by the incredible Jade Windscreen (Yu Ping Feng San).

I drink it in lieu of powdered vitamin C options (it’s far superior!), and simply add it to my water anytime I head out in public.  Pack in your carry-on, drink before departure, and travel with the peace of mind that has been used traditionally to support immune system function and overall wellness for over 750 years.  We constantly recommend this to all friends and family members.

Digestive Harmony: Who doesn’t like to overeat, drink, and indulge while on vacation? Bao He Wan is the 8-herb formula that’s the inspiration for Digestive Harmony, a formula that is used traditionally to support healthy digestion, particularly after heavy meals.

I usually enjoy it after a big meal or right before bed—it’s my way of supporting digestion after a little overindulgence.

Emotional Balance: vacations are as much a time for me to relax as they are to “reset” mentally – cue Xiao Yao San, the incredible formula behind Emotional Balance.

If you’re looking to stay sharp and centered while away—whether diving into a great book, reflecting on personal goals, or being fully present with loved ones—this blend is a great companion.

Easy to Pack, Easy to Consume

Looking to get started? Use code TCM15 at checkout to save 15% on any of the above formulas (and send us a DAO inspired selfie from the road!).

The beauty of all our formulas is the ease with which they can be consumed - and packed. I keep all three in my backpack at all times, and simply add to my water bottle when I’m on the go.

Chinese herbs typically require boiling and concentrating – imagine that while packing for a weekend at the beach.  Rather, picture yourself on the beach or on the slopes, maintaining your inner physical and mental balance by simply adding these powders to your water bottle – they’ve become a staple in my wellness routine and are purposely easy to consume.
