White Peony (root)/Bai Shao
Don’t let those delicate flowers fool you! The mighty roots of the peony plant have been used for centuries to nourish the blood and calm the liver during stressful times.
Poria (fungus)/Fu Ling
Seen naturally growing across the roots of Japanese pines, this white fungus is known to “quiet the heart and calm the spirit,” or in other words, helps with stress, anxiety and even insomnia.
