From a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective, Bounce Back Formula:

When to Reach for Bounce Back
Bounce Back is designed to be taken at the first signs of seasonal imbalance — when your body is feeling taxed and you want to stay ahead of the curve. It can be used on its own or paired with its complementary formula, Breathe Clear, for added respiratory support.
Unlike conventional over-the-counter options that focus on masking symptoms, Bounce Back works with your body to support its natural recovery processes — so you can return to feeling your best, naturally.
Consider Bounce Back when:
A typical course lasts 3–10 days, depending on your individual needs.

A Two-Step Approach to Seasonal Support
Bounce Back can be used on its own, but it’s also designed to work synergistically with our complementary formula, Breathe Clear. Together, they offer a unique two-step approach rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine theory to help support your body through seasonal challenges.
Step One - Surface-Level Imbalances:
From a Chinese herbal perspective, seasonal imbalances often begin at the "exterior"—the surface level of the body. This stage may be characterized by feeling rundown, experiencing head and body discomfort, nasal pressure, or throat irritation. This is when we recommend starting with Bounce Back, to support your body’s natural defenses and promote quicker restoration of balance.
Step Two: Internal Imbalance
If the seasonal challenge shifts deeper—what Chinese Medicine considers moving “inward”—it may impact your respiratory system. This stage is often associated with lingering irritants in the chest or throat. At this point, we suggest adding Breathe Clear to your regimen for additional support of respiratory and immune health.
When Only Breathe Clear Is Needed
In some cases, Bounce Back may do the heavy lifting early on, and all that remains is the need for continued respiratory support. This is when Breathe Clear can be used on its own to help maintain respiratory comfort and restore overall balance.
Remember, Bounce Back is not a substitute for medical care.

The Formula
Bounce Back is a proprietary herbal blend developed by DAO Labs Chief Chinese Herbal Medicine Officer Dr. Eric Karchmer, MD (China), Phd, LAc, in conjunction with his academic colleagues in Asia. Unlike Western options that simply mask symptoms, the herbs in Bounce Back are designed to help mobilize your body’s natural restorative powers when cold season symptoms strike. Named Gan Mao Tong Yong Fang in Chinese, Bounce Back can be combined with Breathe Clear to address coughs as well.
Chinese herbal medicine is powerful, but it’s also complex and in many cases, not convenient or easy to understand. We’re on a mission to make this ancient practice approachable, simple and easy to consume.
The Herbs
Purity, authenticity and sustainability are pillars of DAO Labs, which translates into the way we source our herbs. We use only sustainably-sourced herbs from Good Agriculture Practice farms, and go to extreme lengths to test and verify along our supply chain. All herbs are third-party tested in the U.S. for both safety and authenticity, setting a new standard in Chinese herbal medicine.
