When Bounce Back Works Best
Bounce Back can be taken individually, particularly when the unpleasant experiences of cold season set in - chills, stuffy nose, aches and fever, or with its complementary formula, Breathe Clear. Unlike conventional over the counter options which provide only temporary symptomatic relief, Bounce Back works to enhance your body’s own natural restorative abilities, for a quicker recovery and return to your everyday activities.
The Best Time to use Bounce Back is:

Each pouch of Bounce Back contains your daily dose of tablets. There are 2 servings of 3 pills in each pouch (6 tablets per pouch). We recommend taking one serving in the morning (3 tablets) and one serving later in the day (another 3 tablets). When symptoms are at their worst, you can take an additional 3 tablets on the same day (do not exceed 9 tablets in a single day). A typical course is approximately 3-10 days.
Bounce Back can be taken on its own, but it is also designed to work together with our other Cold Season formula, Breathe Clear. Together, these formulas provide a unique two-step approach that can help your body rebalance and revitalize from most of your winter season needs:
Step One: From a Chinese herbal theory perspective, cold season needs usually begin on the “exterior” or the surface of the body, what we typically call a “head cold,” presenting with fever, chills, head and body aches, nasal congestion, and a scratchy throat. At this stage, we recommend you use Bounce Back to mobilize your body’s natural response and accelerate your path to rejuvenation.
Step Two: If your condition moves “inward” from a Chinese medicine perspective, it typically lodges in the airways, becoming what one might typically recognize as a “chest cold,” with phlegm, an irritated throat, and a cough. At this stage, we recommend that you add Breathe Clear to your regimen.
Final wrap-up: Ideally, this two step process will help your body rebalance quickly. In some situations, however, all the “head cold” complaints will resolve and only a cough will remain. This is a great time to use Breathe Clear alone to fully revitalize and rebalance.

Named Gan Mao Tong Yong Fang in Chinese, Bounce Back can be combined with Breathe Clear to address coughs as well.

Cimicifuga (Rhizoma) / Sheng Ma
This pungent, cooling herb is thought to “drive out wind heat” which among other things, “clears heat” for a swollen and sore throat.
Ligusticum (Root) / Chuan Xiong
This blood activating herb is both warming and pungent, helping to Expel Wind and relieve the symptoms associated with a headache.
Curcuma (Root) / Yu Jin
This acrid, bitter and “cold” tasting herb helps quicken the blood and moves Qi. According to Chinese medicine theory, the herb supports the live, gallbladder and heart channels.
Licorice (Root) / Gan Cao
While it might sound like a delicious dessert, honey fried licorice is commonly used to bring energy (Qi) and strength to key key organs fighting tension or imbalance.
Notopterygium (Root) / Qiang Huo
In Chinese herbal medicine, this pungent, powerful and warming herb “releases the exterior”, “disperses wind and cold”, and “expels dampness.”
Siler (Root) / Fang Feng
Known in Chinese as “Fang Feng” (translation: “wind prevention”), this powerful herb is used for activating exterior defenses during seasonal change.
Magnolia (Bark) / Hou Po
This herb is considered bitter, pungent, aromatic and warming. From a Chinese herbal medicine perspective, the herb helps transform dampness which directs Qi downward.
Perilla (Leaf) / Zi Su Ye

Vitex (Fruit) / Man Jing Zi
